Quality is not an issue here, the finish and the weight of the Hand Rail make it feel very secure and worth the investment . The user / purchaser should have adequate tools to assure this is a good fit and tightly anchored. The hardware provided is adequate for the job and provides a hard fast secure rail for use.

I love the look of this handrail, very modern. It is very sturdy and no rough edges. We had our friend install it for us. As you can see he added a block of wood under it so he could use on her screws going into our wood steps. He also drill 2 holes into the side of the bar and screwed it into the side of the top step for extra hold. Very happy with the purchase

I bought this for my mother's house, to provide something to hold on to when she steps out of her patio door down a couple of shallow steps into the garden. It fulfils this purpose very well, giving a choice of two or three places to hold on to, depending on whether one is stepping up or down. The handrail is quite heavy, but the width of its base together with the anchor bolts provided give a really solid fixing to the brick wall with no perceptible wobble. The anchor bolts are much better than plastic "rawlplugs". A spanner is also provided, but I used a longer one to be able to tighten the bolts a bit more. I used a 10mm masonry bit, not provided, to drill the holes for the anchor bolts. She is very pleased, and so am I.
